Colors of Espresso
Aix-en-Provence, France
I’ve been staying at a house right up the hill from Aix-en-Provence “Centre Ville”. It’s a gorgeous spot and I’m so lucky and grateful to have a dog/house sitting job here occasionally. They have the two most amazing dogs (Piper and Cooper) and stunning strolls and views of the mountain called Sainte-Victoire which Cézanne painted so often back in the day. They also have… an espresso machine. As you can see, I had a lot of fun doing photoshoots in the sun in front of their perfect, sun-burnt colored stone walls. The sun was shining, I was having coffee with the doggos, and life was good.
I also did some painting, of course! Seeing as this view is one of the best I’ve come across, I had to take full advantage of the view and paint all the mountain paintings, just like Cézanne did, ha! Painting the mountain never disappoints and soon I’ll be putting all my little paintings up for grabs on my Etsy and here to purchase.
Finally, I thought I’d add one little shot of the winding streets in Aix because the colors were gorgeous and perfectly sun-burnt, even in winter here in southern France.
