Laura and Grace are two of the most beautiful women I know; to break this down I decided to give them room to breathe, be in their bodies, laugh and be photographed with the occasional cleaning tool. I'm not trying to make any big statements about feminism here. I am trying to bring my friends together to talk about what is important to us as women. Are we strong in our ability to manage a household or held back by our stereotypical role? Are we supported by our partners in chores or cast down by patriarchal delegations? Are we objectified when we bare skin or are we proudly displaying our natural beauty? In breaking down this shoot, I wanted to explore with other women, go outside, act like Neanderthals and spies, hustle around in the park, and sidle up to the feminist ideas we all love and hate to talk about.
