TERRA + TYPE

The picture of a sunset coming off the page as your eyes follow the text of some word unknown, secret, until the moment of the mind’s discovery. My inspiration for this piece comes from that feeling of lifting words of the page into lines of colors - imagined and real like the type they transpose.

This is an original chalk pastel on vintage French book page paper which I found at a second hand book share box in Aix-en-Provence, Southern France.

Framed in a deep-set, light wood frame, floating on artboard backing.
